5% Reservation for ICSE / CBSE Students in 1st year PUC Admissions

A good news for ICSE and CBSE class-X students. Starting from this year, Karnataka PU board has made it a rule for all PU colleges to reserve 5% of the seats to ICSE and CBSE students who would like change their stream of study from ICSE or CBSE to Karnataka PUC. Hence, even if there is a bit of delay in the announcement of class-X ICSE or CBSE results, Karnataka PU colleges will now reserve 5% of the seats to these candidates who seek the admission to 1st year of Karnataka PUC. However, in case these seats are not filled up at the end of 3rd round of seat selection, then the college is at the liberty to transfer the un filled seats to the management quota.
