National Institute of Technology (NITs) are premier technical institutions of National importance. NIMCET is a national level common entrance test conducted by NITs for admission to MCA programme offered by the following NITs :
National Institute of Technology Karnataka - NITK Surathkal, Mangalore, Karnataka, MNNIT Allahabad, MANIT Bhopal, NIT Calicut, NIT Durgapur, NIT Jamshedpur, NIT Kurukshetra, NIT Raipur, NIT Tiruchirapalli and NIT Wanrangal.

Application available on website from: February 22, 2008
Last Date for receipt of filled in application form with DD – March 31, 2008
Date and Time of Entrance Exam – Sunday, May 18, 2008, 12 noon
