Integrated Ph.D programme in Materials Science 2008-2009
Jawaharlal Nehru Center for Advance Scientific Research – JNCASR, Bangalore invites applications for admission to the integrated Ph.D Programme in Material Science. Selected students will receive a fellowship as per approved guidelines of the centre.
Entrance and Oral Test:
Candidates will be selected through a written entrance test based on Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics followed by an oral examination for those who are short listed. Names of candidates selected to appear in the written examination will be displayed on the above website.
Eligibility:
Bachelor’s Degree in branch of Science.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with an aptitude towards scientific research will also be considered. A minimum of 55% marks is one of the requirements. Candidates who are appearing for the final examination this year can also apply.
